Today, more than ever before, people are embracing the idea that gender is a spectrum. Among these people, there are also celebrities. Some non binary celebrities include Bella Ramsey, Elliot Page, Jonathan Van Ness, Olly Alexander, Mae Martin, Asia Kate Dillon, Demi Lovato, and Sam Smith. These non-binary celebrities, through their clothing choices, sense of style, and how they approach beauty, help to take gender out of fashion and beauty. They also inspire others to express themselves freely. Here is a list of non binary celebrities and their fashion & beauty. We classified the list based on four categories: Actors, Musicians, Models, TV Personalities, and Activists.

Asia Kate Dillon is a non-binary actor who first came to the spotlight with their Brandy Epps character in the Orange is the New Black (2016-2017). As an actor who portrayed one of the first non-binary character in the TV series: Billions (2017-2022), they are a true trailblazer. Asia’s looks are often casual on the runway, seen wearing things like graphic tees, and color block sweaters that could easily transition into everyday wear. Bella Ramsey is a non-binary actor most well known for playing the Ellie character in the series Last of Us (2022) as well as starring in the Game of Thrones (2011-2019) as Lyanna Mormont. The young actor’s style is a classic blend of masculine and feminine elements. Their most iconic look saw them in a double breasted suit and tie completed with a skirt on the bottom half, the entire outfit being embossed with beaded pinstriping. A more casual look saw them in a graphic blouse paired with striped track pants and sneakers. Elliot Page is one of the most well-known actors in our list. Sara Ramirez’s outfits and style are consistent across events, commonly being seen in graphic tees topped off with a bomber jacket. In casual settings Indya Moore can be seen in boho-chic looks, wearing free flowing dresses with accents of gold jewelry. Australian non binary actor Liv Hewson is most well-known for portraying Abby character in the Santa Clarita Diet (2017-2019) as well as their role as Van Palmer in Yellowjackets (2021 – present). Liv Hewson’s red carpet looks are often subdued and simple. One look featured a matching burgundy dress shirt and trousers paired with a clutch and a set of flats. Some of their other looks saw a classic white blazer matched with a blouse and trousers, a velvet green romper paired with gold heels, and a striped kimono style top matched with equally flowy pants. Lachlan Watson is a non binary actor most well known for playing the Theo character in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018-2020). Some signatures of their style include Watason’s septum piercing, and short cut hair colored either a dark brown or platinum blonde. Blue del barrio is an American non binary actor. They have played the first non binary character in the Star Trek franchise, “Adira Tal”. Blu Del Barrio’s style is often quite goth inspired, featuring dark makeup, black clothes, and a trademark black buzz cut. One of their most notable looks saw them with slightly longer hair, donning a yellow raincoat splattered with black paint. Olly Alexander is a British non binary singer whose albums are released under the former band, now a solo project: Years & Years. Their songs including Starstruck (2021), Desire (2014), and King (2015) have been well-received by audiences and critics alike. Alexander is never afraid to make a statement with their fashion, combining contrasting elements like a dress shirt with shoulder pads, a pink mini skirt, and thigh-high platform boots. Other statement pieces see them in a striped white and black fur coat, and a black blouse that flows into a long cape. Most looks are completed by Olly’s signature close cropped orange bowl cut. They have released 8 studio albums and 44 singles, and they continue to release new music. On red carpets, Demi can be seen in looks ranging from skin tight black dresses to purple velvet pant suits. On stage, the singer has just as much range. They can be seen in a black suit embroidered with purple flowers accented by blingy square sunglasses, to a more casual look featuring an oversized pink button down with black dot accents. Another highly known artist, Sam Smith is a non binary singer who rose to fame first in their home country: UK before reaching international fame. They are known for hit songs like Dancing with a Stranger (2019), La La La (2014), Stay With Me (2014), Too Good at Goodbyes (2017), and their latest chart topper Unholy (2023). Sam Smith’s style is often traditionally masculine with some feminine accents. While the singer will occasionally wear something simple like an all denim look featuring jeans and a jacket, they also pull off more formal looks with ease in something like a dark gray trench coat, with a green sweater and trousers complete with a full face of makeup. They have also taken roles in movies like Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2023) and Hidden Figures (2016). Monae can easily pull off any look they try, from a rhinestone covered ball gown featuring a wrap around head piece, to a preppier look with mini skirt, and matching checkerboard sweater and bucket hat. They also took on multiple roles in TV shows like The Deuce and Trinkets, and took the stage in Broadway. Kat Cunning’s style balances simple style with more experimental fashion. One of their more subdued looks saw a simple mesh top paired with plaid capris and red high heels. Another notable look saw the singer wearing all red, with a tied off button down and leather pants. Their songs include On the Regular (2014), Call It Off (2015), On My Own (2020), and one of their latest Cisgender (2022). Shamir’s style is often simple, yet colorful and vibrant. Tash Sultana is an Australian non binary singer who is known best by their 2016 single: Jungle. After rising to international fame, Tash released other hits including Pretty Lady (2020), Notion (2016), and Day Dreaming (2019). Tash’s style is that of a quintessential indie rockstar. On stage they will wear either a graphic tee, button down, or simple jacket, usually paired with a ball cap or beanie, completed by plaid trousers or jeans. Angel Haze is a non binary rapper mostly known for their mixtapes released for free on the internet. They have also released a studio album: Dirty Gold in 2013 in which the single Echelon (It’s My Way) came out. Angel Haze has a simple streetwear style, often wearing hoodies paired with bomber jackets and ballcaps. Their looks are usually completed by footwear like a pair of combat boots or sneakers. One notable accent piece from the rapper was a wide brim rounded bolero hat that completed a look featuring an off the shoulder dress, skinny jeans, and windbreaker. Adore Delano
Adore Delano who is also known as Danny Noriega is a non binary singer and a drag performer mostly known for being a contestant on American Idol and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Since then, they have released three studio albums, Till Death Do Us Apart (2014) being the highest charted one. Adore Delano’s looks are most well defined by their makeup and hairstyles. They are most commonly seen in gothic makeup featuring dark lipstick and heavy eyeliner. Their hair colors vary greatly from pink, red, and black. In terms of style, Delano’s style can feature anything from a fringe vest and mesh leggings, to a simple graphic tee and open romper. Dua Saleh is a Sudanese-American non binary singer and actor best known for their Eps: Nūr (2019), Rosetta (2020) and Crossover (2021) as well as their role in Netflix’s Sex Education (2019-2021). Dua Saleh’s style is often very subdued, with one look seeing the star rocking a simple jean jacket, denim maxi skirt combo with their hair done into braids. The look was completed by a simple blue long sleeve and green boots. When looking to make a statement, Dua can very easily accomplish this as well, with one notable look being a high-vis construction vest adorned with symbols of non binary identification. Ruby Rose
Ruby Rose is an Australian non binary model and actor who has been featured in the pages of several fashion magazines including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, and Marie Claire. Giving more emphases to their acting career later on, they took on prominent roles such as Stella Carlin in the Orange is the New Black and Kate Kane/Batwoman in the first season of the Batwoman. Ruby Rose is often seen in very classically masculine outfits, such as suits, or matching dress shirts and trousers. They will occasionally include more feminine elements, like a tube top underneath an oversized blazer. They often complete their looks with a pair of boots or sneakers. Rain Dove’s style is a simple, classic blend of masculine and feminine. One of their most interesting looks was a tight pink mini dress adorned with a pink and black coat, complete with white cowboy boots. Chella Man’s style features bold colors and patterns that make up a cool streetwear inspired wardrobe. Jonathan Van Ness is a non binary TV star who rose to fame as being part of the cast of 2018 version of Queer Eye. Originally a hairdresser, they have quickly become a fan favorite and released their own show on Netflix: Getting Curios with Jonathan Van Ness which is based on their podcast series. Jonathan Van Ness’s style is defined by their ability to play with gender. Being a hairdresser, it makes sense that their long, flowing brown hair is often the star of their looks. Caldwell Tidicue, also known as Bob the Drag Queen is a non binary TV personality and a drag performer. Even though, they are mostly known for winning the season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, they have also taken on acting starring in TV shows like Tales of the City (2019), A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019), and Lucifer (2021). Caldwell’s style is often rather simple and elegant, choosing something like a plaid dress paired with a black leather jacket for red carpet appearances, or a blue dress combined with a white fur coat and bandana. They are known for being one of the runner ups in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, being a contestant in the Australian Idol, and winning the 21st season of Celebrity Big Brother. Jenek’s style switches effortlessly from Shane to Courtney, as the performer can be seen regularly both in and out of drag. Without a wig and full face of makeup, Jenek will opt for something like a brightly patterned romper paired with a simple red purse. Bimini Bon Boulash is a non binary TV personality and model who is mostly known for being a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 2. They have walked at London Fashion Week and have nearly a million followers on Instagram. Bimini Bon Boulash certainly isn’t afraid to experiment with their style. In terms of makeup, Goulash has a signature look of heavily outlined lips, high arched eyebrows, and a beauty mark just above the lip. Their hair is ever changing, occasionally opting for a bald look, or choosing from a wide variety of wigs. Jinkx Monsoon
Jinkx Monsoon is a non binary TV personality who has won RuPaul’s Drag Race twice and crowned Queen of All Queens. In addition to being a performer, they are also a singer having released two studio albums. They have also played the Mama Marton character in Broadway’s hit show: Chicago. Unlike some of the other drag performers on our list who go for wildly experimental looks, Monsoon has a more classic Hollywood style. Often wearing elegant ball gowns with their signature red hair done up big, Monsoon’s look is consistently sleek and elegant. One of their most jaw dropping looks came in the form of a layered, multi-coloured tulle skirt on a corseted dress, completed with a floral crown, making Monsoon look straight out of a fairy tale. Gigi Goode
Gigi Goode is a non binary TV star who rose to fame as being part of season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Since then, they have released appeared on Sam Smith’s music video and walked on the runway of Riannah’s lingerie brand: Savage X Fenty. With heavy eye and lip makeup with angular contouring, they often have long crimson red hair to complete their style. In terms of clothes, Gigi can frequently be seen in next to nothing, often wearing lingerie as a staple piece in their wardrobe. When covered up, Gigi can be seen in something like a lime green trench coat accessorized with a matching choker and headband. Trinity The Tuck
Trinity The Tuck is a non binary TV personality known for their multiple appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race including sharing the win with Monét X Change during All Stars season 4. Besides drag race, they have also made appearances in shows like Botched and AJ and the Queen. Similar to Jinkx Monsoon, Trinity has a more classic way of presenting in drag. Commonly wearing elegant ball gowns with updos and subdued makeup, they often look like the classic image of a Hollywood star. WIth that being said, they aren’t afraid to experiment with their looks, with one notable style featuring a tight midi dress adorned with iridescent accents, complete with a helmet and visor. Mae Martin
Mae martin is a multitalented non binary artist who has done stand up, acting and writing. They are most well-known for starring and writing the Feel Good (2020-present) TV series which they received a Bafta nomination for. Mae Martin has a very subdued and classically masculine style. Often seen in something simple like a green jacket with a white shirt and black trousers, or a simple suit, Martin consistently looks elegant and effortlessly stylish. Alok Vaid-Menon
Alok Vaid-Menon, mostly known as ALOK, is a non binary activist, artist, and a writer. Their work mostly focuses on the traditional representation of gender and the problems that come with the gender binary. Alok actively challenges gender norms with their style, commonly wearing multi-colored hairstyles and full faces of makeup, while not being afraid to show off their facial and body hair at the same time. Their fashion sense is colorful and fun, often combining multi-colored statement pieces with large necklaces and earrings to create unforgettable standout looks. Jacob Tobia
Jacop Tobia is a non binary activist and a writer who is also occasionally involved in acting. Jacob Tobia has a wonderfully elegant style, often wearing ball gowns, and rompers to events they’re in. They often wear rather subdued makeup that is occasionally turned up a notch with an accent like bright purple lipstick. Shaneel Lal
Shaneel Lal is a non binary activist and a model mostly known for being the founder of the Conversion Therapy Action Group which is working towards ending the conversion therapy in New Zealand. They are also board members of several queer support and advocate groups. Shaneel Lal often has a subdued look during their activist work, choosing something simple like a black turtleneck with their hair tied back. However, while modeling, Shaneel looks stunning in patterned ball gowns with their hair let down. Nothing if not an activist, Lal accessorized in their vogue photoshoot with a protest sign reading “Love Doesn’t Need A Cure, End Religious Conversion Therapy”. Robyn Lambird
Robyn Lambird is a non binary athlete, activist, and model who won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. Primarily an athlete, Lambird’s style is often largely functional. In their most famous look, the athlete is seen wearing Australia’s Olympic uniform, accessorizing with their bronze medal.
